We stayed as part of a 29 person group for a rugby tour. Great house, lots to do, very clean and capable of catering for large groups, located central to Loch Ness, so easy access to a large part of the highlands and the Cairngorms. Can’t wait to return 👍🏻

This is our group's second visit to Polmaily House and have to say that it is one of the best large venue houses we have ever stayed at. Has everything you need for kids and adults alike and the accommodation is outstanding. Rooms are so well appointed and most have ensuite facilities. Kitchen is also great for catering to large groups and the extensive grounds and games room/swimming pool keep the older teenagers occupied for hours. Cannot recommend it highly enough and Chris and Deb are always on hand to help without encroaching on your enjoyment of the house and grounds.

We recently stayed at this incredible house for a hen weekend, and honestly, it couldn’t have been more perfect! There were 26 of us, and the house accommodated everyone so comfortably – it truly is the ideal place for a big group celebration.From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the space. There was more than enough room for hosting, partying, and organising activities without ever feeling cramped. The living areas were spacious and sociable, making it so easy for everyone to come together, whether we were playing games, dancing, or just catching up. The swimming facilities were a huge highlight and such a fun addition to the weekend. We also had caterers come in, and the house layout made it seamless – it’s brilliantly set up for entertaining.Every single room was lovely and spotlessly clean, with comfortable beds and plenty of space for everyone to settle in. It felt luxurious yet welcoming at the same time – exactly what you’d want for a special celebration.Christopher and Debs were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. They were so helpful, friendly, and always on hand to answer any questions in the lead-up to our stay and throughout the weekend. Nothing was too much trouble, and their communication made the whole experience completely stress-free.We genuinely couldn’t recommend this house enough. If you’re planning a big group getaway, especially something like a hen weekend, this is the perfect place. We made the most amazing memories there and would book again in a heartbeat!

Just back from a fantastic birthday weeked with my family of 21 adults and 3 kids. Polmailly House is simply wonderful for all ages. The house is very well equipped with everything you need and more including all the sports facilities and swimming, the bar and the karaoke but to name a few of the facilities. There is plenty of space to all be together or space if you need some quiet time. Everyone loved how comfy the beds were too. Chris and Deb were on hand if needed and what a wonderful job they have done of this beautiful house. Would definetely come back

Absolutely beautiful location and house with great facilities. Ideal for large family holiday for all ages

We were part of a family celebration and this house was fantastic for the event. We stayed 5 nights in April. The house has plenty of bedrooms and many diverse spaces where we could visit in small groups or large groups. The kitchen is large and fully equipped for cooking there or having a catered meal. We enjoyed the additional amenities such as the indoor swimming pool, game room, and trampoline. The location was also very convenient to Inverness for flights and for day trips within the area.

Our family of 27 stayed at Polmaily House for a week and had a wonderful stay. The property is even prettier in person, and there are many more amenities than listed online. Our age range was 3 to 62 and everyone had a great time in this beautiful home. Things to know for packing: 1. It's a shoes-off home (white carpets), so pack slippers or house shoes if you don't like being barefoot. There is plenty of space by the entrance to keep footwear including wall cubbies) 2. If you're not used to Scottish weather, even mid-summer high season will have some rain, but it will still feel plenty warm during the day. (We overpacked warm clothing and under-packed waterproof items) 3. The kitchen is huge and comes fully stocked with almost every spice imaginable. There is a small fridge in the kitchen and a large fridge and chest freezer in the back room (and a drink fridge in the bar). We cooked many meals while staying here and easily found everything we needed. 4. There is a clothes washer but no dryer (a fairly standard thing across Europe). There is a heated drying rack that worked well, and several rooms have heated towel racks we also used to dry clothes. 5. The owner is amazing to work with. He helped us find a caterer, answered so many questions, and even helped us hire a local gentleman who played bagpipes and sang Scottish songs while playing guitar. Made for a magical last evening in the highlands!

Stayed with 26 others for the week.A lovely country house. It feels of its time but very comfortable for that. Plenty of living spaces for a large group to each do their own thing and rooms big enough for everyone to come together afterwards. The outside space is amazing if you don't want to explore far.i feel that nothing would be too much trouble for the owner should you need help or advice.I think they could afford to turn the temp of the pool room down a notch but the kids loved it so maybe thats just me.

We’ve just returned from a fantastic weekend at Polmaily House, and it truly exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect for exploring Loch Ness and is just a short drive from the stunning Cairngorms. The house itself is beautifully equipped—comfortable, cosy, and incredibly welcoming. Chris and Debra were always available to assist with any queries, making us feel completely at home. We’re already looking forward to our next visit—hopefully, we’ll have better luck catching a trout in the pond next time! ?

We stayed at Polmaily House for a Girls U12s rugby tour in the Highlands.The house is fabulous and in a spectacular setting, just minutes away from Drumnadrochit.There is plenty of space and our team had a cracking time playing in the swimming pool, games room and grounds. The relaxing space for the whole group was generous and allowed for people to have time to have quiet time as well as spend time together. Our family room was a generous size with space for 4 of us.Thanks to the owners for their hospitality and we look forward to coming back soon. Thank you so much.

Polmaily House is so well equipped, it is the most amazing place for groups, especially families. So much to do and such a beautiful setting. The rooms are beautifully designed and very comfortable. There is also loads to do in the surrounding area. A great family stay!!!

Our stay at Pollmaily was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found the perfect place. The house was beautifully decorated, spacious, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay.Chris, our host, was fantastic—friendly, helpful, and always available if we had any questions. A special touch was his generosity in donating any excess food to a food bank, which we really appreciated.The highlight for us was all the entertainment options for the kids. They absolutely loved the cinema room and the wide variety of games available, which kept them entertained for hours. It made our trip so much more enjoyable knowing they were having such a great time.Every room in the house was thoughtfully designed and well-maintained, making our stay truly stress-free. I highly recommend Pollmaily for anyone looking for a family-friendly getaway.

The Polmaily House is an absolute must stay for family holidays. The property is extremely well maintained with an abundance of activities. Chris was very responsive and a great and friendly host. We look forward to staying here again.

Private pool area is great and heated so place to your self is nice and peaceful

Chris was a great host. Very responsive. We had 11 adults and six children. There was always something to do for the children on the property and they loved it. Rooms were good and kitchen very effective for 17 people with four ovens, two fridges, large chest freezer plus an AGA. Everything worked or at least did when Chris explained it to us. Would highly recommend for large groups in the area. The area has much to do, including some spectacular hikes.
