Having already hosted many hugely successful and unique wedding celebrations, Polmaily House continues to open its historic doors as a ‘one of a kind’ and wonderful exclusive use venue for your extended wedding celebrations.
The 300 year old Georgian home and former residence of the Grant clan, sits in 6 acres of beautiful grounds and offers unrivalled facilities for you and your clan to enjoy as you celebrate your big day.
Whilst we no longer host marquee weddings, Polmaily House is the perfect venue for intimate celebrations of up to 50 guests to be held within the 12 bedroomed main house itself. The house itself can accommodate up to 30 family and friends staying for the duration of the celebrations. The grounds also offer a number of stunning venues for an unforgettable outdoor ceremony, as is becoming increasingly popular. Our pontoon and natural amphitheatre, with benches made from our own trees, overlooking the large pond and fountain is understandably particularly popular with our brides and grooms.
The main idea here at Polmaily House is for you to be able to spend valuable and uninterrupted quality time with your friends and loved ones over a number of days, enjoying the unrivalled facilities which the house has to offer – a tennis court, a trout pond, a cinema room, a 24 seater dining table, a covered games room and an indoor heated swimming pool are just some of the amazing facilities available to guests. The possibilities for your special time with us are endless – wedding themed quizzes; outdoor cinema; treasure hunts; Highland games; karaoke; pool parties; tea parties; croquet – to name but a few. Your special day (long weekend) can be anything you want it to be. Let your imagination run wild! Together – we can make your dreams come true.
At Polmaily House, there are no hidden charges and what we charge is transparent and readily available for all to see. We do not charge corkage or to use our lawn for your marquee, for example.
We have built a very useful and reliable list of contacts who we are very happy to recommend. We can help with any aspect of your wedding arrangements, from caterers to celebrants and bands to bars. Just ask if you need a little extra inspiration. Even if you are based a long way from the Highlands, we can still get everything organised with you. We have already hosted super weddings for couples from Canada, Australia and South Africa.
